New Member - Steph Parkyn

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Steph Parkyn.  Steph comes to Tasmania from New Zealand via NSW.  She has been printmaking since 1999, working mostly with etching and aquatinting.

Her art often features connections with the natural landscape which reflects her training as a freshwater ecologist.  Steph is currently exploring her new home and is experimenting with pastel and oil painting in addition to mixed media and collagraph printmaking.

We wish Steph a long, productive and enjoyable stay at INKA.  We will keep you posted with information on her upcoming exhibition in early March 2011.
